Hello Backman Lions!

Here are some movement ideas to try at home this week. I hope that you will use these ideas to move at least 15 minutes a day.

Enjoy moving with your family!

Tuesday, March 17, 2020

Enjoy standing up, moving and taking a brain break. Try this patten...

Wednesday, March 18, 2020

Today, take a brain break by creating your own body percussion rhythm pattern. Use your body to create a pattern that uses claps, taps, snaps and stomps.  Watch this patten… and create your own body percussion rhythm pattern.

Thursday, March 19, 2020

Today, we are moving to the English version of the song Paprika from Japan. This song is one or the official 2020 Tokyo Olympic songs. This song was translated into English and the Foorin Team E sings and dances it.

Friday, March 20, 2020

Today, remember the same movement pattern as yesterday except the song Paprika is sung in Japanese by Foorin.  This musical group is made up of elementary school children from Japan.

Monday, March 23, 2020

Today, we are going to learn the cupid shuffle. Practice this pattern and try repeating it in a square.  Enjoy moving!

Download Ms. Huckins’ Movement Tracker for ideas on how to stay moving each day, as well as, Ms. Huckins’ Movement Journal to write about how you moved during the day.

More to come!

I will continue to post ideas to keep our Backman Lions moving!

See you soon!

Ms. Huckins
