The following meals are free and available to all children, ages 0-18.

School Lunch:  During COVID every school aged child was eligible to receive free lunch.  Now that we are back to our traditional routine, families MUST complete the application for free or reduced lunch or purchase lunch for their children.    

Backman has had a debt to the school lunch program that was paid off recently due to a generous community donation; however, we do not have a donation to cover the rest of the year.   

Beginning February 1, 2023, families will be responsible for their own payment to child nutrition.  If you feel like you may qualify for the free/reduced lunch program, but have not completed the form, Backman’s office staff and attendance team are ready to help you do so.  It is not too late!!  Please contact us for support or complete this form on your own as soon as possible.  Here is the link for completion: Translated Model School Meals Application

Families who do not complete the form or are not found eligible for the free/reduced lunch program will be personally charged for school lunches beginning February 1, 2023.
